This week we remember the Presentation of Our Lady at The Temple – this was an Act of Worship that all Jewish families did to give thanks to God for their child. We also remember St. Cecilia who is the patron saint of music – another form of worship. When we come together to worship God we are celebrating all that is good in our lives and reminding ourselves where those blessings come from. This week think about something you want to celebrate and find a way to give thanks for it.

This week we also have a very special event happening on Friday across our diocese. Bishop Patrick will be doing a live broadcast to every school to explain the start of a special year in the Church. A year preparing for something called a Eucharistic Congress. You’ll find out more in a special extended form time on Friday!

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

Check out this week’s ‘Word of the Week’ we start filming with forms this week – thank you for signing up! There are however, lots of forms that haven’t signed up yet you can still reserve your word by following the link below.

This week’s work of the week is a very special edition. It was created, edited and produced entirely by year 12 students – check it out!

As you heard in the video – we’re going to start our shoe box appeal again and using the video we want you to think of the things you can bring in as a class and make some pledges as to how many boxes you can fill. Even one box will make a massive difference!

Lord, help us to think of those in need. Amen.

We finish with the Sign of the Cross.
