The Saints are a fascinating part of our church history and tradition. A saint is one of those men and women who in their life, and often their death, set us an example of how to live a life for God. They’re were not all perfect however! Often they made bad choices and mistakes in their lives too before turning back to God. They give hope to us all that we can be better people and one day become saint’s ourselves!

This week we’ll all be celebrating mass for the feast of All Saints day so look out for the activities this week in form time to help us prepare!

We start with the Sign of the Cross.

Check out this week’s ‘Word of the Week’ in the coming weeks it’ll be your turn to host our weekly show! Don’t forget to check out the notices at the bottom of the screen and leave your comments below!

Have a think about the person or people in your form most likely to become a Saint. What would they be the Patron Saint of? Write their name (if they’re okay with that!) in the comments box to inspire other people!

Lord, thank you for the inspiration of the Saints. Amen.

We finish with the Sign of the Cross.

To help us prepare for All Saints Day Mass we want you to spend a bit of time today thinking of a saint to pray with during our celebration. Often Saints have something called a Patronage – it’s a group of people or a situation that they have a special connection with. These patronages give us someone to turn to in certain situations to ask for help and guidance.

Have a look at the link below and spend some times thinking about who your personal Patron Saint might be. Write their name and maybe a bit about them on a piece of paper and put it in your top blazer pocket ready for mass. (You may be asked why you chose who you chose!)

When you’ve all picked a patron spend a few moments in prayer asking that Saint to pray with you for what ever you need at the moment.

Lord, help us to pray with the Saints, Amen.
