The Diocese of Nottingham – Holy Week
Live Streaming and YouTube Videos with Links
Easter is the most important time in the Church’s Liturgical calendar. Although we are very sad that we cannot visit our Schools and Churches during Holy Week this year to celebrate Mass and Liturgies, we are very lucky that we have lots of ways that we can pray in our homes. It is very special and encouraging to know that our friends and family all around the world will be praying in their homes at the same time!
An Act of Spiritual Communion
When Catholics are unable to attend Mass and/or are in circumstances when they cannot receive Jesus in Sacramental communion, it is possible to make an Act of Spiritual Communion. Acts of Spiritual Communion increase our desire to receive Sacramental Communion and help us feel closer to Jesus during these times when we cannot attend Mass in our Churches.
Spiritual Communion Prayer
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there
And unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
Below are some of the Parishes where you can live stream Mass and other services during Holy Week. If you know of anymore local Parishes who are live streaming throughout Holy Week, let us know so that we can include them on our post!

Despite hoping to be well enough to live-stream the Holy Week services, Fr Joe has had to reluctantly concede that he has not yet recovered sufficiently from the COVID-19 virus to allow him to get through them. Hopefully, he will be well enough next week to resume live streamed Mass from the church for the Easter season.
