We start with the Sign of the Cross.

In the bible we read about people having to have courage to stand up for what they believe in. Sometimes they need to have the courage to trust in God and know that he will protect them.

Watch this video on a bible passage when a young man named Daniel showed a lot of courage.

Take some time with your class to talk about this bible passage and share times when you may have shown courage.

Pope Francis said these word to children just like;
Living the call to 'Have courage ... go forward ... make noise ...
He is challenging you to be brave and to tell people about Jesus – make some noise about him, so many people can hear.
Copy these words on to a piece of paper and draw a picture of Pope Francis next to it. Then write down the names of 3 people who you are going to talk about Jesus to this week. Make sure you have the courage to do it!
