  •   Don’t forget that you can still access lots more resources on the ‘prayer at home tab’ when you’re at home.

Courage is something we will all need to find our lives. You may need the courage to face an exam or test, or maybe you’ll need the courage to say sorry and seek forgiveness.

The Holy Spirit can give us courage when we need it the most, so think about the times and places where you need courage at the moment and ask God to help you find that courage and move forward.

Click on the different tabs below to explore this week’s prayer resources. We hope you enjoy them and have a great week!

We start our prayer with the sign of the cross…

As followers of Jesus there are many songs that inspire that same hope and courage in all of us.

Listen to this song by the worship band Rend Collective. As you listen pick out a lyric that stands out to you and makes you think about the courage that we have in the love and power of our God.

Share your chosen lyrics, and your thoughts on it, in the comments box below!

Making Sense of it All: Welcome back or welcome in?

…we end our prayer with the sign of the cross

We start our prayer with the sign of the cross…

This week’s theme is courage.

Remembering the words of scripture below, chose a way to show courage this morning:

1. Close your eyes for a minute without peeking (it’s harder than you think!)2. Stand up in front of your form and tell them 3 interesting facts about you

3. Talk to someone you don’t usually talk to

4. Share something that you are worried about and take courage from the words of your friends

5. Share a time when your faith has given you the courage to do something.

I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

…we end our prayer with the sign of the cross

We start our prayer with the sign of the cross…

The world can keep going despite of it’s flaws, the world can keep going and you are the cause. Keep going, keep going, keep going!

It takes courage to keep going. Sometimes life seems hard, keep going, sometimes it feels like you can’t achieve what you want to, keep going. Who keeps you going? Write their names in the comments box below 🙂

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
